Hi,
i am very keen to to take up Business Administration studies’ ideally an MBA from a good business school’ starting 2020.
I am open to the format and location but have following profile weaknesses:
1. Low undergraduate scores - 2nd division. While the course i undertook is the most reputed one in the country, i couldnt score as much as my school and PG due to diversions caused due to my fathers death impacting my attendance in the first teo years; no regrets though, those experiences made me who I am today.
2. I have not taken GMAT yet
Stregths:
1. Have overall 10 years of experience into strategy, research and consulting across sectors. Specialist of mobile payments:
2. Worked with top firms in their respective feild - mckinsey, kpmg, gsma, Amex
3. Now leading a mid size oil and gas conglomerate trying to prepare digitalization strategy and lead the disruptive initiatives globally
Age: 30
Current Sal: 81k US$
Reasons for full time: While I want to continue working into Strategy (digital), i am not sure about Oil and Gas sector per se. especially, given how rapidly the energy space is evolving. So maybe want to look into management consulting/ strategy roles.
Reasons for EMBA: super happy with the challenges of current role and theopportunity to apply what i learn is immense here.
Facts:
Dont have much savings so i am going to rely heavily on loans in both cases EMBA and MBA
I am taking EA in early June 2020 and so far the practice tests are giving me confidence that I should be able to score 150_160
I have following offers:
1) bath : full time unconditional
2) durham full time unconditional
3) St. Gallen full time unconditional
4) LBS EMBA conditional on EA
5) Cass EMBA unconditional
6) Insead GEMBA conditional EA
Thoughts from the wises..
