I'm not too aware about ISB but do you have any chance of wanting to work in the U.S post-MBA? If the answer is year, UNC is the way to go for sure - especially with their STEM program. If you are dead set on returning to India, maybe ISB is a better choice but I'm sure you can use the UNC brand for jobs in India too...The MBA experience between UNC and ISB will be vastly different too so that is something to consider depending on what you are looking for.

What's ISB? I have never heard of it. So, I think you are better off choosing UNC.

Agreed! KF is the way to go if you are looking to be in the US and in the biggest MBA job market.

Hi,

Thank you for your view on this. I want to gain international exposure working in US and studying with peers from various countries. What do you mean MBA experience is different between ISB and UNC?
Can please you also throw some light on Product management roles post-MBA?

Hi All,

My short-term goal is to go into Product management and long-term wanted to start something of my own.

I want to study abroad and gain international exposure, so I'm inclined towards UNC. However, from my long-term perspective, ISB has good network in India.

Please comment with your thoughts.

Hi pranathi27,

Both admits are very competitive and there's nothing like a 'correct decision' here. This is more of a US vs India case and the decision must purely be a function of your priorities and preferences. If your priority is to gain international exposure and have the opportunity of working in the States, you must choose UNC. In case the priority is to have ease of placements and settle in India, ISB is the winner.

Take a call on the aforesaid lines; thereafter, just go and perform; we are certain you will not regret your decision, either way!

All the best!
