Hello Everyone,
Reaching out to receive a feedback for my profile and betterments that could be done.
I am planning to apply for the upcoming ISB Round 1/2 and would appreciate a profile evaluation.
Here are my details and Profile Overview:
* Demographic: General Engineering Female
Education:
* B.Tech: ECE - Jalpaiguri Government engineering College, West Bengal ( 8.43 CGPA, Class of 2023)
* 12th Standard: 95.4%
* 10th Standard: 10CGPA
Work Experience & Business Impact (3Y7M as on cut off 31 March 2027):
At Motherson (Aug 2025- present) - Joined as Senior AI Engineer
1. Design and develop production-grade GenAI and agentic AI systems, enabling intelligent automation and conversational enterprise applications.
2. Architect and deploy scalable RAG pipelines over enterprise and financial datasets using vector search and semantic retrieval, implementing both persistent (long-lived) & session-based (short-lived) retrieval architectures.
3. Build agentic workflows using LangGraph, enabling multi-step reasoning, tool invocation, and fault-tolerant executions.
4. Integrate LLMs via Azure OpenAI and implement prompt engineering strategies for reliable responses.
5. Implemented blue-green deployment pipelines to minimize downtime and ensure reliable traffic handling during production releases.
At Ericsson (Aug 2023-Aug 2025) - Joined as GET ----> AI and Intelligent Automation Engineer
1. Working as an AI & Automation Intelligence Engineer at Ericsson, driving enterprise automation and analytics initiatives across telecom operations.
2. Developed and optimized AI/ML and data engineering solutions leveraging AWS Glue, SageMaker, Snowflake, and PySpark for scalable enterprise workflows.
3. Led cost optimization and cloud migration initiatives, including transition of Snowflake-SageMaker pipelines to AWS Glue, improving operational efficiency and reducing infrastructure expenditure.
4. Built automation and anomaly detection solutions integrating AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and GenAI-based workflows to improve monitoring and incident response.
5. Collaborated cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and process automation initiatives.
Awards & Recognition:
- Awarded “Beyond Expectations” recognition for successfully delivering multiple challenging AI assignments for the Q3 2025.

Target:
* Exam: GMAT Focus Edition (not attempted yet) - July/Aug

What should be target GMAT FE score. Would appreciate any insights on how this profile stacks up for ISB and any specific areas I should focus on further uplifting my profile.

Your work at Ericsson and Motherson makes your profile stand out from regular tech applicants. Focus on showing business impact, leadership, and stakeholder interaction in your projects. A GMAT FE score of 675+ should make you competitive. Your Product Management goal makes sense, but try to explain it more clearly in terms of AI products and business roles. With a good GMAT score and strong application essays, you will have a solid chance at ISB.

Honestly, your profile is strong for Indian School of Business.
Good academics, female engineer diversity, strong AI/GenAI work, promotions/awards, and clear impact at work, all of that helps a lot. Your extracurriculars are solid too, especially TEDx + E-Cell leadership.
Your PM goal also makes sense from your current background, so the story feels natural.
The main thing now is GMAT. Try to get at least around 675–695 FE to be in a comfortable spot for ISB. Higher is obviously better, but you don’t need a crazy score.
Biggest advice: don’t make your essays too technical. Focus more on leadership, ownership, and business impact rather than AI jargon.
