Tylor75018 - there is no preference per se. Having said that, scholarship (and admissions) chances depend on your holistic profile i.e. academics, work-ex, extracurricular activities, narrative/ essays, interviews, etc.
If your profile lacks analytical rigor or you come from an overrepresented demographic (e.g. Indian Engineer), for instance, it may be prudent to take the GMAT/ GRE instead of the EA, as it can help increase your chances.
The best way forward would be to reach out to the HEC AdCom for an intro chat (through the 'Connect with Us' form) and get a pulse check of your profile, before deciding which exam to take.
Hope this helps.

Hi all
I see that HEC now accepts EA score as well for FT MBA.
On the website, it mentions taht they have no preference over GMAT vs GRE vs EA.
However, they only published avg/median GMAT of the previous cohorts. No GRE or EA scores disclosed (only certain 'encourage').
My question is: I'm curious if the GMAT still holds any advantage or better perception for
scholarships? As many perceived it as harder and required more rigorous prep.
Thank you very much. Any insight would help
