HEC Paris’ Master in International Finance (MIF) interview is one of the most structured yet conversational ones among European schools. It’s designed to test three things:

These test your clarity, maturity, and alignment with HEC’s values.
B.
Technical / Market Questions
These depend on your background. If you’ve studied finance or economics, they’ll expect more depth.

- Explain the concept of duration and convexity in bonds.
- Walk me through a DCF valuation.
