Hi Everyone, just wanted to check something on the minimum work experience eligibility. I complete 5 years of work ex in August this year.

Would I be applicable to apply for the executive 1 year mba programs at top IIMs (apart from IIMA and IIMK) this year?

Yes, you do stand a chance. However, a lot will depend on your GMAT score and how well your essays address the following:

-Your goals and how your background aligns will them
-Why you need an MBA at this point in your career
-Your strengths and achievements

Yes, you do. A lot of candidates from PSUs do apply each year, so competition is intense. A lot depends on your clarity of thought on why you need an MBA now and what you will do after that. The Avg GMAT for IIMC’s current batch is 696, but that is a combination of old and new GMAT formats. You should target 635+ , however a little lower can still work if you have a strong application and essays.

With a good application and strong essays, this score will do.
If you think, u can increase your score, u can focus on that. But it’s quite difficult to increase even by 10 points after this level. Hence it’s a personal decision.
Last year we have worked with candidates with score of 640 ( old GMAT format) and helped them get into the top IIMs.
