C is a tricky trap. It is possible that the president consulted all the facts, but chose to ignore them. There is no information in the passage about who the president consulted. We only know that the presidents proposal is based on some incorrect facts, but we do not know if the president knows these facts and chooses to ignore them or if the president was not aware of these facts, resulting from a lack of consulting, as C implies.

Conclusion or derivation from this is if this is implemented then something will happen what that something is people will not start working because most of the people recieving the grant are people who are unable to work.

On a lighter note, I could answer this question correctly because my manager ignores all my helpful considerations before making a decision. Thats what the president does. He consulted all facts, but ignored them all.

So basis the passage the President knows that the most of the people are either working or cannot work due to disability or old age. He is making the pretext of "people not wanting to work", so that he can STOP the food program.

This eliminates choice C. Hope this explains it.

choices B, D and E are irrelevant as they bring outside information that is not supported by the passage.

We know that most people won't start working as most of those who can work are already working, while the rest won't be able to since they either have disability or are too old to work.

The wording of A is somewhat ambiguous and not clear, if the the wording was the employment rate won't be much affected by that decision, then it would be more reasonable.

The wording of A is very ambiguous to be honest. Not sure how this is the right option. It states that "most" of the people would not start working once the program is enacted. What if before the program, 80% of the people already work and 20% are the ones who don't. If the answer statement said most people who do not work will not start working, it would have been a clear yes.

I scored a 100%ile in my CR section in my first attempt mostly because there was very little ambiguity in the answer statements. Not sure what qualifies this as a 705+ question lol.

hey jessjit, I think you overthought a bit here, most of the people will start working in itself refers to the people who do not work currently, as others already work right now, so will "start" working doesn't apply to them
