With the '18-'19 round 2 deadlines approaching in a few days, we're already getting calls about getting started with round 1 2019 applications for 2020 intake! If you're starting your application process early, feel free to ask your burning questions here. I'm an alum and also an admissions consultant who works with successful Kellogg applicants every year. Historically, those who get started early have the most success so please fire away!

Hi! I am applying to Kellogg this round and was wondering if it would be best to apply with only my GRE score, which is better than my 2 GMAT scores. I know Kellogg recommends showing all scores, but I don't want my GMAT scores to hurt my chances. Any thoughts? Would it be applicable to note the GMAT scores in the optional essay to show why I chose the GRE or should I leave them out all together?

Hi there - if they are asking for any and all test scores then I would include them. Our advice is always to be absolutely honest. However, my understanding from the former Kellogg adcom we've spoken to is that they will consider your highest score at the end of the day. Remember, they are skimming your overall application to determine how you fit with what they're looking for in the class as well as what you bring to the table. I don't think they will spend as much time considering what lower scores on tests could mean; rather they will look at your highest and that will be the basis. Hope that helps!
