IEGAT tomorrow

Question

I enrolled for this exam when I had started planning for my MBA. 
Initially, my plan was to write GMAT first and based on that score write IEGAT. 
Because of a few unavoidable situations, my GMAT is getting delayed, I'm not sure whether to write IEGAT tomorrow or not. 
Is it worth attempting without much preparation, or is the college really that good, that in case I get through IEGAT I can skip writing GMAT.

Would love to have some insights on it.

Go forward with writing the IEGAT examination. It doesn't require that much preparation and you can score pretty well if you are good with basics of graphs. Another section with the diagrams, you just need a clear thinking and presence of mind to cross IEGAT.

IE Business School gives equal weightage to IEGAT and GMAT. So after taking the IEGAT you can start with your application.

Hi, As I received a mail from the Adcom team, stating that anyone can write the exam after submitting the application only. Prior to submitting the application, they will cancel your IEGAT exam schedule. Please check with IE Adcom team.

Yes its true, you have to complete the basic application before you can take the IEGAT examination. Better contact the IE India team, they can also make exceptions (I know of some cases) arranging to take the IEGAT without submitting the Application. Please check with the person conducting the test.

Congrats Sheetalpandey.

If you go into the forums for the different intakes, there is a lot of information on the two+ interviews/steps that you will encounter.
First is the Kira Talent video essays, then you will have the regular interview in person, or through a skype type platform.

As far as scholarships are concerned. You will be able to apply for scholarships separately, usually after you are accepted; and will want to apply as early as possible. I was told that there is a limited pool of money for each intake, and early awardees will start to draw that down. The application is quite easy, but does require an additional 250 word essay and the requirement to choose only three scholarships from the list to apply to. You can find the list on the IE website.
There are also loan options that IE will connect you with once you are accepted.

It went on for 65-70 mins.
I'm not sure what to make out of it.

The scholarships listed on the school website is comprehensive for their offerings. 
There are plenty of other outside scholarships you can apply to. Best is to start with internet research for those.

First of all congratulations on getting selected for the program! I'll be giving my ieGAT exam on 17th of September and I've been practicing for the test from jobtestprep. I'd like to get some insights from your side regarding the exam. How did you prepare for it and what's the difficulty level of the 3 Sections? (Quant, verbal, and diagrams). Also how many questions were you able to answer? I've heard that it's nearly impossible to complete the test within time.

Help would be appreciated here - I just completed the IE application and have been invited to take the Kira assessment and sitting for the IEGAT in one week. 
1. For the Kira assessment (2 video + 1 written format) - are the questions close to the practice questions? if anyone can throw some light that would be great
2. For the IEGAT - I hear there's a different format for online test - what is it like and what is the best way to prepare for the same?
