Hi everyone,

I have been notified about the rejection without even being invited to the interviews;

I am asking to myself to what extent the notification letters they sent to all the rejected applicants is the same. Which is your experience?

This is an extract of mine:

"The Admissions Committee has carefully considered your application for MIT Sloan MBA Early Admission Program. While we were impressed with your background, we regret that we cannot offer you a place at this time.

Please understand that, unlike traditional MBA applicants where we have more data to evaluate, our decision was based on a limited sampling of your academic, work and life experiences. We have therefore established a high threshold for early applicants at this stage of their careers.

We encourage you to reapply after you have worked for three to five years; during this time we will continue to keep you updated about our MBA Program. Our decision will not prejudice your reapplication at any point in the future. "

Thank you all, have a nice sunday ahead,

Andrea
They do send that out to everyone. I do suggest you work on the GMAT again if it is in the lower side as they will (Allegedly) prejudice against the reapplication.
I hope you don't get your hopes too high, these people just want to keep their rankings high and acceptance rates low to look more elite at the expense of emotions of the applicants. Don't hold on to false hopes. Also, if you get into a good school now, go for it, don't wait out

Thank you for your comments. Indeed. it is possible that it is a standard letter sent to everyone, however I still hope that another applicant shows up so we can compare our letters. thank for your advice! in fact, I am already working with a really good enterprise, and I definitely need to work on my GMAT score.
Competition is tough, that's for sure, there are 10k+ applicants for few seats!

I am not sure to what degree the letters are tailored.
However, the content at least sounds encouraging (given the circumstances).

Showing continued interest in the school over the coming years certainly won´t hurt, so always feel free to check in with us/this forum.

Concerning the experience, maybe some folks in this topic can share their thoughts:
