Please explain what is meant by 20th century
the first century started from 01 Jan 1 to 31 Dec 100, the second from 01 Jan 101 to 31 Dec 200 and so on.

SO, the 20th century in continuation would be days and years from 01 Jan 1901 to 31 Dec 2000.

I also got stuck due to this.. then I reminded myself that any nth century (ex 20th century) starts with (n-1)00 and ends with (n)000. So for 20th century .. starts with year 1901 (January 1, 1901) and ends with 2000 (December 31, 2000) .. Total of 100 years.
