What is the perimeter of parallelogram WXYZ?
(1) The area of the parallelogram is 35 and the base is 7.
(2) WX + XY is 12.

Question : What is the perimeter of parallelogram WXYZ?
Statement 1: The area of the parallelogram is 35 and the base is 7.
i.e. base is 7 and height is 5 (Base*Height=35)
but with same height and base many parallelogram can be formed with inclined sides of multiple lengths hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: WX + XY is 12
Sum of two adjacent sides = 12
i.e. sum of all four sides = 2*12 = 24
SUFFICIENT
Answer: option B

Why is the answer not D?
With base = 7 and area = 35, the height of the parallelogram should be 5;
We can use this information to get the other side of parallelogram then why is the answer not D?
