Statement 1: 3 < k < 6 and 5 < n < 8
we have 2 values of each K and n , k=4,5 and n = 6,7 if we multiply 4*6 then we get multiplication is smaller than 30 and if we multiply 5*6 we get multiplication is not smaller than 30 .
Statement 1 is not sufficient to answer the question.
Statement 2: k + n = 11
assume values of k and n , lets k=5 and n=6 then we get 30 and it is not smaller than 30,
now let k=10 and n=1, then the answer is smaller than 30.
From this statement,. Therefore, statement 2 is not sufficient to answer the question.
Considering both statements together:
Combining the two statements, we still don't have two answers .Therefore, even when considering both statements together, the answer is still [E]. It cannot be determined from the information given.

k= 4 or 5
n = 6 or 7
So, Using these Values in Question:
4*6 = 24 : kn<30
But 5*7 = 35>30
So, Statement 1 -> Not Sufficient
Statement 2 : k + n = 11
Putting Values that satisfies Statement 2
k=4, n=7 ; 4*7<30
but k=5, n=6 ; 6*5=30
So, Statement 2 -> Not Sufficient
Combining 1 and 2 ->
We do not have any new Information, Hence 1 and 2 Together is not Sufficient
