Horrible Performance ..Need some inspiration

Question

Hi Guys,
I had gave the xam just a week before. My score was 610(q49 ,v25) ..even this is less than 20 marks as compared to my last one(630 taken around 8 months ago).
I am really frustrated..really don't know which path to take...
Just a little background:
My 1st gmat prep - 630
Manhttan - 04/10-> 640 ( Q48, V31)
04/12-> 600 (Q43 V31)
04/23-> 670 ( Q44 V37)
04/25 -> 650 (Q44, V35)
04/26 -> 680 (Q51, V33)
Gave my 2nd gmat prep around 7 days prior to exam and scored 680 (Q49 V32)
Gave my 3rd gmat prep 3 days prior and got a score 720 ( i have to agree that lot of verbal rc got repeated)
My health was not good for few days during last one month preparation but i can't accept 610!!!!...really feeling frustrated...
Guys need your advice ....i have spent a lot of effort and final the result is so decisive....

Keep your head up. You seem to have made solid progress in your verbal. Make sure you are absolutely solid in your concepts in Verbal and you are on your way to a really good score. It obviously did not help that you were not well.

If you are getting frustrated and/or burned out, I suggest you drop the books for a week or two. Clear your mind then really concentrate on the verbal side.

Few points..have u tried taking coaching from premier institutes i mean veritas and MGMAT....try their private tutorn....
Or since its been time check whether 630 is enough fr the coll that u want to get in or not...u knw der is no point to waste tym and money if u get into the colls with the current score....

Few days back i read a debrief a man with 630 gt into rotmann and interview invites fr McCombs etc....
So check the colls and i would suggest der is lot f other thns in the lyf....and on applications......so just get goin.....tym is running ....i can see its already 2 years on gmat club....

I dont have any specific studying advice, but as other people have commented it looks like you are on the right track. I know that isnt exactly the most encouraging phrase at the moment, but to give you a point of reference most people prep at least 3 months (average more like 6) prior to taking the GMAT. It looks like you spent about a month. My guess is that you still have some holes in verbal that you need shoring up. The only way you'll get better is to keep to doing problems. The more problems you do, the more comfortable you'll get in identifying the question patterns in the exam.
