Hi shashwat91,
I'm sorry to hear that Test Day did not go as well as hoped. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. We just need to come up with a more effective Study Plan for your next attempt. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) What study materials did you use while studying for your 1st attempt?
2) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs/mocks (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
3) It's been over 2 months since you took the Official GMAT. Have you done any studying since then?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to retake the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
