Hi ASIF23,
Statistically-speaking, raising a 490 to the point that you can consistently score 600+ will likely require at least another 2 months of consistent, guided study - and you will have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. In addition, you will likely need to commit to at least 10-15 hours of consistent, guided study each week to earn that higher Score. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. From what you describe about your timeframe, you might need to push back your planned Test Date and applications.
To be as efficient as possible with this next phase of your studies, we'll need to be as specific as we can be with information:
1) What 'brands' of practice Tests/mocks have you used so far?
2) Score 'ranges' do not mean much at this point; we need exact results from each of your Exams. On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
3) What specific application deadlines are you facing in January and what are the NEXT set of application deadlines (after January) for each of those Schools?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
