As I have heard one gets a 2 year work visa after completing a 2 year STEM degree.
I think the same is applicable for a 2 year MBA degree.
I am right now deciding between an MBA and an MIS degree.
Regardless of that, I would like to know the visa norms for a one year degree.
In Canada one gets a year of work visa after a year of study. Does the same apply to US?
Are employers willing to take efforts for the work visa? I know one can't say for all employers but I'm talking in general.
Is it really a cause of worry for someone looking to repay his loans or usually people easily stay back after completing one year degree?
Visas work the same way for an MBA, in the sense that an employer has to be willing to sponsor you. Certain employers regularly do this, while others do not. The larger companies, including the big professional service firms, with large rotation programs will usually sponsor employees. That said, many small companies and even large companies who don't hire a lot of MBAs do not sponsor employees.
What type of work are you looking to do after graduation?
