I applied to Carneggie Mellon University in Round 2. The decision came out on March 18 and I was waitlisted. Round 3 decisions came out on April 30 and I was waitlisted again. Same happened in the Round 4 decisions on May 24. The results will come out for the last and final round on June 30. I really can't understand whether I stand any chance in Round 5 since international candidates don't apply even in Round 4. I am an international candidate and hence confused if i should wait. Has anyone heard of such a case before ? Could you tell me the outcome? Thanks in advance

They aren't keeping you on the waitlist just to torment you. I am convinced you still have a chance greater than -0-; I just have no idea of what that chance is. I have heard of (domestic) applicants being accepted the week that classes start. I don't know what the minimum is for international applicants.
