Hi everyone, I'm wondering how Columbia views post-grad education and academic performance. I have a 2.9 ug gpa (ivy league school), but then completed my master's degree with a 3.8 (also from an ivy). Following that I did a 3-month business cert. course and scored in the top 10% I'm wondering if CBS will weigh those more heavily than my undergraduate performance since it's been several years and I've clearly improved my record since then, or if I shouldn't even bother with that low of a ug gpa..... Any advice?

I think your undergrad gpa should not weigh too much against you if you can explain well in your optional essay. Your question should be "why do I need an MBA when I have a master's degree already"
Hey thanks for the reply! I actually toured with a professional funk band through college and would leave school Wed-Saturday and come back Sundays hence the reason for the low GPA.
As for why do I need my mba? I got both my undergrad/grad degrees in biology and have a lot of science/academia background. I'd love to work in biotech and move away from pure science, and to do so, having the tools and knowledge from an MBA would be ideal.
