No bb,

I think Wharton has only dished dings on 28th. I am really really surprised. I was expecting about 15-20% invites to be going out today but I guess my calculations were totally wrong!

Maybe the ones who have got an invite are busy trying to book their interview slots! Who knows.

But honestly, to say that I am a bit shocked today would be an understatement! :(

To those who got a ding, just remember everything happens for a reason and I am sure you will get in to another school if not this year, the next. I have been postponing applying to MBAs for two years now and I don't regret it one bit - more experience is always good and will help you take so much more from an MBA.

For those who got interviews - I was wondering if you discussed any extra curricular activities as part of the behavioral questions or mostly just focused on professional?? Does it affect at all the decision if you already discussed extra curricular in your essays?

Interviews are blind so it doesn't matter if you reference items in your essays if you see them as your best example. All my experiences were work related, because that is what the questions lent themselves towards. However, if you have extensive leadership experiences in your extracurriculars or more limited work experience (I have 5 plus years on which to draw) by all means use extracurriclar activities. The point of behavioral questions is for the AdCom to extrapolate going forward what type of leader and businessperson you'll be based on what you've done in the past. Use every weapon in your arsenal to show this.

Apparently, today was a bloodbath....

DING here as well...

Really unexplainable ding considering that i am a reapplicant who was waitlisted and then summer waitlisted last year. I've been promoted at work and have got to lead some real major projects, Ive also taken on more leadership positions outside work. My GMAT has also not reduced from 740....LOL.

How im suddenly not even good enough for an interview this year even with significant improvement in my app and multiple essay reviews by Wharton students is really beyond me...

For all those with good news, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

For me, the Wharton dream is permanently over, I'm definitely not trying a 3rd time. It has been a painful two years of trying for Wharton but I think its apparent they don't want me.

All the best everyone
