On the waitlist and still hoping.

Wharton fbook group have a little less than 200 members against 400+ for HBS. Duke, with half of wharton's class size, has 168 members.

Either Wharton people don't like facebook or there is still a little hope for R1 WL's and A LOT of hope for R2 interviewees.

Good luck everyone!!!

Anybody knows how adcom will notify the decision? send an email to all then we go ahead to check the status?

In R1 the adcom called a lot of admits in the morning and afternoon prior to releasing decisions (email telling applicants that their decision is rendered and to check the online status). There were admits who did not get phone calls.

Do they make phone calls to international admits as well?

They did in R1 so I assume they will do so in R2.

Anyone else just interview in SF? How did it go for you guys?

I interviewed today. Only got 2 behavioral questions. Interviewer was super friendly. Def helped me relax in the beginning when I was nervous.
I had a really strange interview experience with a second-year yesterday. I didn't get either of the "Why MBA" or "Why Wharton" questions, which I had prepared for pretty well, but instead did a resume walkthrough and got 5 behavioral questions (some of which I don't think were on the Clear Admit wiki). Anyone else have a similar interview experience?

yes, I don't think it was that strange -- it seemed rather straightforward to me (esp after reading the clear admit wiki).

mine interview was:
- walk in, chit chat briefly about my trip, etc.
- 2nd year introduces himself and talks about his wharton experience and his plans post-grad
- walk me through your resume / tell me about yourself, spent maybe 3-4 minutes here
- 3 behavioral questions where he furiously jotted down notes
- a couple questions for the interviewer

whole thing lasted maybe 35-40 mins?

pretty standard, no?

I had an AdCom interviewer. Very straightforward interview, walk through of resume, behavioral questions, why MBA/why now, questions for the interviewer. I was asked four behavioral questions instead of three, which worries me because maybe it implies that I didn't flesh out my responses enough and that made my interviewer want to ask more questions. There weren't ANY follow-up questions from my interviewer, so it all seemed quite cold to me.

Anyway, I hope to hear some good results at the end of this month!

Hello212, I wouldnt be too worried about how many behavioral questions you received. I'm pretty sure it has no correlation to how you answered your questions.

My interview informed me how many behavioral questions I would be answering at the beginning of the interview, befor I even said anything.

I interviewed with a second-year student as well. The interview was mostly "standard" with 3 behavioral questions. Similar to krzt's experience, I received a Wharton-related question in addition to Why Wharton and got a 4th behavioral question, neither of which I saw on the ClearAdmit Wiki site. The interview was still relatively straightforward and pretty conversational. I think the additional questions reflected the interviewer's style and the pace the student was trying to maintain rather than an indication of the quality of my answers to the 3 behavioral questions (I hope so anyway). Hoping for the best, and good luck to all!

Ah, but my interview didn't have the Wharton-related questions, which was what confused me. At any rate, I'm sure you did great!

My on-campus interview didn't have any why MBA / why Wharton questions either. I had four behavioral questions. I've seen a lot of similar reports, so I don't think anyone should read too much into getting those questions or the number of behavioral questions.

I got 3 behavioral questions as well as Why MBA now, Why Wharton, and what will you contribute. I was also asked where I'd go if I had a ticket to anywhere in the world. Random, but it led to some great conversation about food.

Alright, so I'm getting kind of anxious. I asked a question at the end of my Wharton interview and my interviewer asked me to follow up over e-mail just to remind them. I did, (and I don't want to get into too many details about this) but my interviewer gave me a pretty canned response and basically a link to the Wharton website. The website didn't even answer my question! And during my interview, I even prefaced my question with "Wharton's website has abc, but I was wondering what opportunities there are for xyz?"

I feel like either
(a) my interviewer was bogged down with so many follow-up questions that they didn't have that much time to give a tailored response to my question,
(b) or worse, my interviewer misinterpreted my question and thought it was something that could be easily answered from the website, and now believes that I didn't do my due diligence on the school.

Anyone else experience a similar thing and has some helpful advice?

Breathe! You're thinking too much. It's more than likely A and if it is B who cares. The interview is a small part of the overall picture and this is a follow up to an interview question. It probably matters a whole lot more to you than whoever interviewed you. Heck, I forgot to send a thank you note. I'm sure my interviewer isn't even thinking about it. Just chillax and luxuriate in the "no news zone." We've got over 3 weeks til decision day. We can freak out over the minutia starting on the 25th. For now, wooooosah!
