It's past their typical invite window for the day... they must be loading up for a mass invite/ding notification on Friday.

I'm curious to know how many Northeast applicants are still waiting or have heard? It seems like there were more international invites thus far from the gmatclub posts I've read. I'm hoping that maybe they prioritized the invites by travel distance - Wishful thinking!

Confused. Desperate. Anxious. Illogical.

I am/was hoping for the same thing. I am in Pennsylvania and I am hoping I got pushed until later due to ease of scheduling.

Looking at the roll call for Round 1 Wharton applicants:

Self identified Non-US: 14/27 (~50%) received invites
Self identified US: 13/58 (~22%) received invites
No geographical ID: 13/65 (~20%) received invites

Looking at this, obviously with a grain of salt given the large number who haven't identified their geographical location, it seems like there may be some truth to the theory that most of the international invites are already given and many of the remaining ones will go to US applicants. Especially given the dearth of international hub spots remaining and Wharton's insistence on not opening up anymore international spots.

Hopefully this means we US applicants have some good news coming our way over the next few days..

BKPK! You are a champ! Great analysis! There is hope that ~25% of invites have yet to go out!

Just curious - but wouldn't it be expected that a higher % of internationals receive invites than domestic applicants? Wharton is a very diverse school and I have to think it receives more domestic applications than international - thus yielding a higher % of invitations among international candidates.

Could be way off but just a thought.

Thanks Goingforit2. Although I was hoping for an HBS invite, getting a compliment from a guy who got one is a close second...

True, whether the 36/74 distribution of the Wharton intake is roughly represented in the applicant pool is an unknown.

Further, whether the international/domestic ratio of this forum is roughly represented in the applicant pool is an unknown.

Also, like me, I imagine several international applicants are listed as "US" simply because we are currently located here.

OK, I am done with over-analyzing everything :D Good luck for Friday y'all

Hey Enkie - any pointers on your International B-School application strategy? Looking to apply for LBS Round 2, and it looks like you've had some success getting interview invites.

Hey Jingle.

Sure would be happy to share my exp if you have specific questions. I don't think there is any particular difference between domestic and international school strategies -- each school requires its own strategy. I will say though, for LBS and INSEAD, the second language and global experiences components are very important (at least from what I can tell -- so i focused a bit on that). So I would really do some thinking about how to communicate that you are a global-minded candidate. LBS is very focused on how you can contribute to the student community, so I would do research on its culture and figure out how you will involve yourself.

Received Chicago and Wharton interview invites on the 4th. I'm in New York.

Does anyone have any insight into the interview questions this year? Are people expecting the same behavioral questions as last year? Something different?
