I received an invite too!! International (Canada), around 4:30 pm, no Lauder. Lots of availability for both the international and Philly team-based discussions. Keep the dream alive!!

So, there has been one U.S. (West coast) applicant who has recieved an invite? Any east coasters or Midwesterners receive an invite?

I'm in the Midwest and nope, no invite yet.

I'm in Texas and nothing yet. Seems like mostly international invites so far. This is driving me crazy.

I don't know if the messy weather in Philly is a reason for the delay in sending invites to local US candidates(I know 1 west coast guy got his). I think Ill take this thought as my solace until next tuesday.

3 slots everyday. 15 total. 24th 2:30pm slot already filled. rest all open. Again, where exactly is the venue, if ne1 knows?

UPDATE: 2 slots gone, 13 left. Venue McKinsey office, Nariman pt. Singapore , London and Seoul are almost gone at this point.

@sayak57 Are you able to see the remaining slots for Seoul? Just want to check the availability until the next invitation wave :)

As of 11:20AM Korea time, there are an unknown number of spots open for one time slot, and a solitary spot open for another time slot. I know this because I registered for the latter, cancelled, and re-registered for the former. All other time slots are full. What this tells me is that there will be at least a few more interview invites to go out in the coming weeks. The premise here is that everyone who received invitations on Feb 4 (Feb 5 Korea time) registered for interviews on the same day. I, on the other hand, registered the following day (my presumption is that I am the only one to do so but of course I may be wrong). In the final analysis, there are as few as 2 spots left (one in one time slot, and one in the other) or as many as six spots left (one in one time slot, five in the other presuming that six interviewees constitute one group - I am the sixth person in this case). Ok, my writing is quite nebulous (I'm not a good writer) but hope this helps. All the best!

Oops, I meant as many as six spots, not five - I can't do math, which will surely count against me during the interview :( Thanks for the encouragement and good luck to you too!

Can we book a slot and then reschedule later if something else comes up?

i want to wait till tomorrow for duke's invites to ensure the dates dont clash especially since wharton requires travelling but i don't want to wait till all slots are taken .

Any advice?

Let me help you with this question.

I did book an interview in round 1 and then 1 day later I change my time to other slot and it is totally fine! I later got admitted haha ;)

You can just cancel that old slot and register for the other slot you want. As simple as that.

However, once you cancel your booking you can't book that slot ever again and must choose some other time though.

Hope that helps!

Wonder how many people will be accepted in R2. The FB group already has 320+ people for Wharton 2016!

Any idea of the admit rate for people who are interviewed?

FROM Wharton Admissions Blog: The Big Game

Last week was quite a week.  The Class of 2015 was hard at work recruiting for summer internship opportunities and Wharton had the pleasure of hosting nearly 300 admits for Winter Welcome Weekend.  I enjoy seeing the campus abuzz with activity – seeing our students in action during interviews, welcoming young alumni back to campus as recruiters, and having the opportunity to meet with our first round admits.  During my Welcome Weekend remarks I said that this is one of my favorite times of the year – and how could it not be?!

During Welcome Weekend, we had the opportunity to invite admits to our campus and give them the grand tour, Wharton-style.  Welcome Weekenders had the chance to meet with faculty, career management, and administration and discover all the opportunities one can find at Wharton – from academic rigor in the classroom to personal enrichment through clubs, leadership ventures, sports, and social activities.  I have to say that I enjoyed showing off everything that Wharton has to offer!  We hope each of our visitors came away from this weekend with an sense of what life at Wharton, and in Philadelphia, has to offer and can see themselves calling this place home for two years.  If you were not able to join us for Welcome Weekend, check out our webinars that cover topics such as student clubs, career management, life on campus, and resources available for partners.

As we near the end of February, round 2 interviews are top of mind for the admissions team. We look forward to putting a face with a name and meeting many of you in person – either here, in Philadelphia, or in one of international locations around the globe.  For more information on our timeline of events and location details, please refer to our previous post from last week.

Regards,

Maryellen Reilly Lamb

Deputy Vice Dean, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Career Management

For what its worth, I am actually surprised to see one of my buddy on that FB group considering he enrolled at UPenn in 2012/2013, and I know he isn't going for his MBA.

Aside from that, there was 837 students in last years class. If 300+ has already been admitted, I would think they would admit another 300 for Round 2? And then 200 for Round 3?
