I'm not sure the split is 300, 300, 200. If Michigan's numbers are anything to go by, who receives 35%, 55%, and 10% of applications respectively, I'd say the split is closer to 300, 400, 100... or some variation of a normal curve. But also, we'd need to account for yield rate so the acceptances should be higher than those splits. Just something to ponder...

I think the acceptance rate is highest in R1(400) and goes down from there. R3 probably has less than 100.
Did someone analyze last years admits?

Thats surprising but good to know. So assuming R3 has the least number of admits, does that mean that the number of admits in R2 will be higher than the corresponding number in R1?

Does anyone know how many slots are yet available for the Mumbai event? I am guessing today is a very important day for Indian applicants. With interviews scheduled between Feb 24-28, I would guess most remaining invites to go out today- 18th might be running it too close to the interview schedule? Thoughts?

If I may how did you know the interviews are scheduled between Feb 24-28?

I received an interview invite on 28 Jan and was given the option to sign up for one of the sessions. The India dates are 24-28 Feb in Mumbai (specifically, McKinsey's office in Nariman Point). Best of luck for tonight!

Also, for those of you counting how many spaces are still available - I dont know exactly how it works, this is more my assumption. But from what I remember rd1, it seemed like for US interviews, new dates were created as new interviews were released (again that's what it seemed like, may not actually be the case). If this is the case, then its possible that an interview in a region may seem full , but they will add a new date at some point and open it up to more spots.

Again, I dont know if that is the case but that's the sense i got as I waited to hear. GL
