No news here either. Didn't think I would be this antsy and anxious!

Do all the applicants who get dinged just find out on the last day or do the dings also come out sporadically over the period?

I'm trying to understand how you can be antsy and anxious..but not know when the dings go out. It was in the Round 1 confirmation email: "Also on November 7th, the Committee will release all final admissions decisions to candidates that are not being invited for an interview and therefore no longer being considered for admission."

Well since the invite period lasts for 2 weeks, I'm sure they're anxious to see if they'll hear something BEFORE Nov. 7th. i.e an invite!

1. This is the right place for questions about the admissions process to be discussed...regardless of what specific information has been released by Wharton and who has seen it.

2. Posting on this forum shows interest.

3. Attention to detail will not prevent anxiety. Actually, having great attention to detail might just exacerbate anxiety.

I for one know the release dates and am still anxious just like Physics. :)

Just to add all international interviews/TBDs are scheduled after Nov 14, so i guess International applicants shouldn't loose hope till Nov 7 when we will have official results available.

same here, nothing under group invitations column so far. the online status update says interviews/TBD have to be scheduled by 27th Oct, hope the scheduler to appear soon.

This was meant for the invites that went out yesterday. A couple of folks from India did get interview invites yesterday.

I am an international applicant but I am currently living in the states... do you think I would still have been considered in the international pool re invites?? Felt like i lost a bit of hope after yesterday

Hey guys and gals - was digging through last years thread and found this nugget from Cheetarah1980 (who by the way, got into Wharton). It is good advice:

No rejections will be sent out until the mid decision day (Nov. 9 I assume). Last year interview invites went out in increments roughly once per week. There wasn't one mass emailing for 80% of invitees. From what I saw it seemed like a pretty steady # of invites in each wave. I can't tell you the frequency of the waves or at what time of day the emails are sent. I can tell you that the invites on a particular day are all sent out at the same time (i.e. if people report interview invites around 2:00 p.m. then there won't be more at 3:00 or 4:00). It is possible to be invited on the very last day.

Try to stay calm during the interview window. Don't try to look for patterns or meaning in who gets invited when. When you submitted your app has no bearing on when you will receive an invite. The first letter of your last name will not determine when you are invited. Geography may be a factor in invite timing (last year the international applicants seemed to get their invites first). International applicants, do not panic if you aren't invited in the first wave. Even if hub location slots are full you can still be invited. Breathe in, breathe out. Breathe in, breathe out. I appreciate you answering my question. I agree that this was addressed in the email from Wharton, and I should have looked there first. In my haste, I posted here first after reading yesterday's responses. For that I apologize. Having said that, this community is a place of discussion and support, so don't think my error was so out of line to suggest that I "show a lack of interest".

Reapplicant here... from 2 years ago. I can tell you that in R1 2011 interview invites came out the first Tuesday of Week 1 and then Tuesday and Thursday for Weeks 2 and 3. I got my invite on the last day, and was ultimately waitlisted, but had plenty of other friends who got their invites on the last day and were accepted. I also remember international applicants being invited on the last day. I have no idea what the process is, but everyone's chances are still very much alive.
