On a side note, I'd love to chat with someone who opted for Health Sector Management. Apparently, I need to schedule another interview with the HSM team.

I am a Health Care Management applicant. Is the admission rate roughly the same for this program compared to the class at large?

I don't think there is any difference. If you apply for Health Care Management, this is in addition to the regular admissions process but you have to pass the regular admissions process first and foremost.

Anyone here have any experience as to how Adcoms view the CFA charter and if it has any/how much influence it may have on the admission decisions? I'd be curious to hear from other's experiences.

It might be seen as "Oh, that's nice," but I doubt it really has much impact on the eventual decision. I'm sure tons of people applying to finance-oriented schools are charterholders (I'm one of them).

I seem to agree with the way it is viewed/weighed, although I I tend to believe that a lot of people prusue the Charter after the MBA, not the other way around (just from personal experience/people I have spoken to). I assume schools like Wharton and Columbia may value it more than other schools, but I guess its hard to know

Got an invitation from Wharton yesterday to come to a reception in San Francisco only for those invited to interview. Any other interviewees get one of these? Are they doing it in other cities as well? Good luck all!
