What proportion of total invites would we guess have already been released?

Am I wrong in saying that it looks like less invites went out this time (if GMAT Club forums are an accurate representation of broader candidate pool)? Nothing here yet...

I did in the 1st wave. And when I was scheduling my interview with the HSM team, they had to go through a list to find my name. I'm assuming it was the list for invited candidates (obviously, not 100% sure).

To all hopefuls that have not received invite notifications yet: Please do not stress out, there are multiple reasons why you should not be worried. Some thoughts and advice:

There is no rhyme or reason to interview invites: I went through the process last year, and was invited on the last day of the invite window. I did it again this year, and was invited earlier in the process. There were no major changes in my location, job, GMAT, etc. (except that I am a reapplicant). I have spoken to numerous students who are involved with the admissions process, and there is no rhyme or reason.

There are plenty of interview spots left available: After speaking with people who were invited today, I can confirm that there are many, many, many slots left open. Not even half of the interview dates are filled. There are plenty more invites to come, and many will likely come even on the last day.

Give the wait some purpose, think of this as a test: The b-school candidates that schools like Wharton are looking for are the ones that see every challenge as a growth opportunity and maintain composure. This waiting period is one of the most stressful periods of your life, so use it as an opportunity to practice self-reflection, calmness, meditation, and confidence. This will also help prepare you mentally for the stressful interview.

There is nothing worse for your anxiety than GMATClub forums: Reading these forums will tell you little that you don't already know, and for every fact there will be hundreds of posts with little content besides stressful thoughts, excitement / disappointment of other people, and rumors. Much like you cannot turn off your work brain while checking your e-mail, you won't be able to calm down without stepping away from GMATClub. Last year these forums killed me, this year I didn't log in until I heard about the interviews and I felt great the whole time. I didn't even look on the schools web sites to get a vague sense for when I would be hearing.

I hope this helps. Good luck to all.
