Wharton EMBA (Philly/SF) 2021 Intake - Class of 2023

Results are not due tomorrow. Day after tomorrow. 46.5 hours from now. Who is counting? I am 54 years old and, even though I have a couple of admissions in hand, I am this eager. I really want to be at Wharton. I can only imagine how eager are the others who are a lot younger than me

Applicants are generally very respectful of this request because admissions are conditional, dependent on your background/reference checks and likely compliance with requests such as not posting early.[/quote]

Yes, that is for the 2022 Intake. R2 Dates are March 23, 2022.

Can someone confirm WHEN the decision is released in the Wharton portal? I believe I read that, for the Philly campus, the portal will be updated after 5:00 PM ET. Is that correct? Similarly, 5:00 PM PT for the SF campus.

This is my understanding as well.

I received an email that my application status changed. The decision letters are available, at least for the Philly location.

I haven't seen the email you're referring to. I also just logged into applyweb, and there is nothing new there. No decision letter, or statement of acceptance/rejection. Not sure if that is bad sign for my application, but I guess I'm still waiting until 5 PM.

No email yet, but got a call from Wharton (and Haas)! Decision time now...

kaba21 Congrats! Both programs are great. If you don't mind sharing, when did you receive the call? Who called?

I got the call last Thursday (because of a competing deadline) and finally feel like I'm not endangering my admission by sharing it here. Whew!!! Choosing between W and Booth and leaning very hard in Wharton's direction.

If I get into W, I had to make a decision between W and Booth (competing deadline) in the next 2 days. But, I didn't tell W Admissions that I got into Booth; I should have, now I feel.

Do share how you are comparing the two programs and what makes you lean more towards Wharton. Did you apply to Philly?

I applied to Wharton SF. My reasoning is explained here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/emba-wharton ... 52416.html :

- For my industry (Tech, data science + analytics) + relatives in the area, prefer SF to Chicago
- Wharton, slightly better known name / reputation (I think? Does this apply in tech?)
- Wharton seems to be the more rigorous program with academics (again, seemingly) on par with the full-time MBA program

My portal changed just now. Accepted to the SF program. I didn't get any phone call before. Now it's Wharton vs Haas decision for me...

I just received an email from Wharton about 20 minutes ago. I had applied to their SF program and I got in. The email simply stated that the application status has been updated and the portal had the application status update (via a link above the checklist).

I am in the same boat. It would be good if we can sync up offline on this.

I got an email 15 mins ago, but I am little nervous to open it. Alot depends on this. Applied for SF.
