My portal changed just now. Accepted to the SF program. I didn't get any phone call before. Now it's Wharton vs Haas decision for me...

I am in the same boat. It would be good if we can sync up offline on this.

Count me in. Wharton vs. Haas.

Likewise, I would love to hear people's thinking on Wharton vs. whatever other program is tied with Wharton or a close second in their mind.

Waiting for Philly response. Got through Booth and today's decision will bring an end to a long wait

Same here. Waiting on Philly. My twins go to Cornell, so it is easy for me. And I love Wharton curriculum better. Chicago cold is scary.

Little premature but more inclined towards Booth. The Adcom was so much more pleasant to work with at Booth and it shows the college well.. not much difference in terms of reputation

I agree that the adcom was more pleasant to work with but I think that's a function in part of the fact that they don't interview everyone.

The Adcom was nice to me at Wharton. She guided me towards what works for me, how I can strengthen my application, considering I am 54 years old. They made sure my zeal is real and explained what to expect at Wharton.

I got accepted too. Wharton EMBA is the only one that I applied to. More like scrambled it together for the R2 deadline.

I got a call on Sunday informing me of the decision and they asked me not to post it in any social media or forums.

I have already accepted the offer.

I just created this server. Let’s discuss here about Wharton vs. 2nd b-school.

Congratulations to all of the new admits! Especially the SF cohort.

I think Haas and Booth are both really great schools. I liked the Booth approach, but when my interview plans were cancelled twice due to Chicago weather, I simply crossed Booth off my list. I have to tell you that Barb Craft and the WEMBA adcom are incredible, at least in person. Booth recruits harder because they have to. Last year, several people moved from Booth to Wharton when waitlist spots opened due to COVID deferrals. Haas is also a great program, but without significant financial support from Haas, I would not pick them over Wharton.

Again, Wharton, Booth, and Haas are all incredible schools. But the question was if I could choose, which would it be? For me, it was Wharton, by a mile.

Congratulations to all the new Admits!!!! :)

Question: I am on a waitlist from R1. I presume if we don't get notified by end of day, we basically continue to be waitlisted?

I would imagine that they're not going to modify that status until after the R2 decision deadline.

I think the waitlist may be a little tougher this year, compared to some others since several people from the class of '22 deferred due to COVID. I think R2 acceptances are figured out and then they start moving through the waitlists. My guess is that Term 1 will be online or hybrid, so there may be some more deferrals this year, which would be helpful to those on the waitlist. The uncertainty is just a killer. Hang in there though, lots of people joined last year during just a few days before classes started.

Did anyone else receive a call? I haven't and already feel it's not a great sign. Has anyone heard of people in the past that didn't receive a call but still got in?

Lots of people didn't get a call but admitted in the past. Also, I didn't see any Philly admits today. I think they will all be online in 55 minutes.

I just received my decision letter for the Philadelphia campus and unfortunately I've been waitlisted.

Received the Philly decision email at 3:09 PM CT, and unfortunately was denied.

Best of luck to everyone, admitted or not!
