tortoiserun- good choice! I, too, have ran 2 marathons, albeit very slowly, and I'm very involved in a running non-profit. I was far less creative, though, hence "runnergirl."

Oh dear... some of these nicknames are so thoughtful! In comparison, I was having toast with strawberry jam when I signed up to GMATClub. Thus, my username "redjam" was born! :oops:

combination of fedex and unledded: Fedex is abbreviation for Roger Federer (my favorite tennis player) and unledded since "Led Zeppelin" happens to be my favorite band. They came out with a Greatest Hits album which had the word "unledded" in it...(maybe I spelled it wrong!!)...

I love the 80s. The Thundercats was one of my favorite cartoons in the mid 80s. When I needed an AOL screen name back in '99 I decided to pay homage to the only adult female Thundercat. I added 1980 cause it's my birthyear. Thus, cheetarah1980 was born

Mine is a play off of the magazine The Economist - because I had once wanted to be an economist but found I enjoy many broader academic subjects. Thus, I replaced it with the "academics" part to show that.
