Perimeter of rectangle \(= 2l + 2w\)
Given width \(= 5\)
Perimeter \(= 34\)
\(2l + 2w = 34\)
\(2l + 2*5 = 34\)
\(2l + 10 = 34\)
\(2l = 34 - 10 = 24\)
\(l = \frac{24}{2} = 12\)
Diagonal \(= \sqrt{w^2+l^2}\)
\(= \sqrt{5^2+12^2}\)
\(= \sqrt{25+144}\)
\(= \sqrt{169}\)
Diagonal \(= 13\)
