Hi,
I'm curious as to what the usual time frames are to hear back for an interview or rejection. I know they have that March 29th date on their site, but I'm not sure if that is for final decisions or just decisions about interview candidates.

I'm assuming you do, but do you get notification either way (rejection or interview)?

You will defintely get notification one way or the other, but HBS is notorious for sending out interview invitations at the last minute. Admittedly as time passes you chances decline, but you can't give up hope until you actually receive the rejection letter.

I spoke with someone in admission at HBS earlier today and was told that they will start sending out interview invites in early February, and that they do NOT send notice to those who will not be invited to interview.

There's my two bits.

HBS says that visiting does not earn you brownie points in the admissions process. Visiting does, however, give you insight about the program that will allow you to more persuasive, concrete, and specific in answering why you want to go to Harvard. And that insight can earn you brownie points.
