Hi All, I am currently in my 4th year of engineering planning to give my GMAT within the next 2 months. But after my engineering i would be joining a core industry in line with my bachelors degree and plan to work there for 3-4 years. Would a GMAT score 3-4 years old be then accepted at ISB?

GMAT scores are valid for 5 years. However, it is better to plan your GMAT as close as possible to your application; say 1 year. This keep you well insulated for the future.

Yes, ISB accepts GMAT scores that are up to 5 years old. You may also opt to apply to ISB earlier through the EEO or even the regular PGP option (once you have 2 years of experience).
