Objective: MBA (FT) 2010 - want to switch career to equity research analyst / IB
27 / female / asian
Undergrad: top 5 Canadian University; Commerce Finance & accounting
GPA: 71 - 72%
Reason for not so competitive grades: very active in a student club, was the president in the last year (the club had 400-500 members and 60 working executives); also had a 4 day part time job at that time
Work experience: 4+ years with a big international bank; stepping up from admin clerk to manager level (relationship manager in personal financial services)
Post grad qualification: Certified Financial Planner
GMAT: to be written
Target Schools: Oxford Said, Cambridge Judge, HKUST (don't want to stay in north america, plan to work in Asia after MBA)
Just want to know where I stand given my background and experience.
I just don't want to over / under estimate myself in choosing schools.
Most worried about the low undergrad GPA.
Please help. Thanks a lot.
