Hey.

I am 24 years old, female from India.
Work experience of 2 years in Data Analytics.
CGPA of 8.9 (scale of 10) in B.Tech from a premier Indian institute.

I am not aiming for the top 5 schools. I want to know between 5-15 which schools do I stand a chance for getting a call and also receiving a scholarship.

Academics -

Based on this information, can you tell me which colleges in US and UK should I target so that I get a call and have good chances of receiving a scholarship. I am not aiming for top 5 schools but something in the range of top 10 to top 15.
Please let me know what you think.

Hi leia23,

You have a decent profile. I think you have a good GMAT score to get into TOP US schools apart from M7. I'm more concerned about your low work ex. It is on the lower side. It hence, becomes difficult for you to prove your accomplishments. Your career progression, leadership and team work. Therefore, more reliance on your academics. But still a lot of people apply with 2-3 years of work ex and get in.
Purdue Krannert and CMU Tepper are good schools for Data Analytics. NYU Stern too has a good program. I'd be happy to discuss your profile over a call and suggest some schools. Hope this helps.

Hi leia,

I'm answering your questions here because you've turned off private messages.

1. Yes the programs I've mentioned are MBA in Data Analytics.

2. You have a good profile to get a merit based scholarship. But each school has different eligibility criteria of awarding scholarships. Moreover, there are specific scholarships that maybe dependent on where you're from, your gender, your MBA concentration, etc. This one is tough to answer.

3. Yes it does make it better but only marginally. Within the next year you'll have to portray career progression maybe improve your GMAT score, basically anything and everything you can to improve your candidacy.

Best,
