Hi everyone -

I took the GMAT twice and got a 680 both times. The first time I took it and got a Q44 V38. The second time, I got Q47 V35.

I'm in a dilemma as to which score I should cancel and which to send. The first score shows my Verbal in a higher percentile, but my second quant (albeit not amazing) is better, which I've been told adcoms prefer.

My MBA goals are to enter the investment management space working at a bulge-bracket bank. Target schools: UVA, UCLA, UT-Austin, Georgetown

Any help is appreciated!

Definitely submit the one with the higher quant score as the quant is more important for B school apps. What is your background? Email me if you want to chat further about your application strategy. scott@personalmbacoach.com

Agree with others. Higher-Quant score is the one to go with. If you want to know why, you may read it here.

Go with the higher quant score, generally this is the more important score when it comes to b-school admissions. Good Luck!
