Hello everyone, I'm from India and have an undergrad GPA of about 3.2/4.0. I understand that this is a low GPA if I'm targeting top business schools in the US. I am an engineering student, and the primary reason for my lower GPA is that I couldn't do well in my core engineering subjects, because I had lost interest in them and didn't like whatever I was being taught in engineering. I have, however, scored well in electives that I took, such as Project Management, Operations Research, and Quality Management.
After attending a lot of Q&A events, I have realized that to offset my low GPA, I would need to do a course in Economics, Statistics, Finance, etc (apart from a high GMAT score) to prove to the admissions panel that I can handle the academics in MBA. Since here in India, I do not have the option of a community college where I can get extra credits, I wanted to ask do online courses from Coursera, edX, help? I looked up online courses at UCLA and UC Berkeley, but they were too expensive. Is there any other platform, or online course, which could help me in this regard?
