Would be grateful to get people's thoughts.

Profile is as follows:
3.6 GPA at Top 50 National University (Economics Major)
760 GMAT
Was in a rotational finance leadership development program for 2 years (one of the top firms in that particular industry)
Went into Corporate development (M&A) at the same company once the program was over (will have been in corporate development there for 3 years when applying) (targeting next year)

Goal = consulting in the same industry

Involved in a few extra curriculars but they unlikely to help me stand out. Would rather not discuss for confidentiality reasons.

Really nice performance with your GMAT/GPA. Strong work experience in some MBA ready roles. I would agree and say certainly target top 10. You should focus on really trying to make sure you have the requisite anecdotes to stand out in your essays. If you can nail this area you will be in good shape!

You seem to have an impressive profile. A score of 760 will make top consulting firms eager to invite you for interviews- and B-schools love to know that.

Top 10 B-schools within US could be doable. If you are considering outside US, in that case, your life experiences would matter more than your stellar GMAT score. Hi there,

Unless there are omissions on potential weak spots in your profile, I like a diversified strategy across the top 15 schools in the US for you ensuring that map yourself well with the fit/culture of the school (e.g. think short and long term goals vs. what the school's strengths are). See our tips on what else to consider throughout this process.

Best of luck this year with your preparations. Also, if you haven't already, I'd consider visiting some of your target schools if you haven't already.
