I am from Azerbaijan, 29 years old. Undergraduate degree was done in International Economic Relations and GPA was 3.8. Masters I have done in Sweden, in International Relations (concentrated on more politics) with GPA 3,7. But after the graduation I started working in marketing for a few years and then switched to business development in another company, worked there for 1,5 years. So 4-4.5 years of work experience. Now I want to study MBA and change the area actually. My interests are more in investment management now, but I am not sure. I want to function in area where I will be able to use somehow my previous master background (Int. Rel.- politics) as well.

Hi there, You will have to get better clarity on your career goals for the sake of your b-school applications. I see your past experience and education fitting into the consulting mode better than that investment management role (also you will need to determine your entry eligibility int the niche investment management space with no past experience in the finance sector).
Moreover, if you are looking at the European b-schools, then the finance jobs have kind of taken a back seat with economies making slow recoveries.

Some b-schools that are known for the case method are IE, IESE, Rotterdam (Erasmus University) & Cranfield School of Management.
