You don't need to put nearly 1000 words in those. I know Wharton's had those questions and I think it was more a maximum limit than a suggested WC.

plus i believe it's 1,000 characters, which shouldn't be so bad

done with all the 1000 character sections..WOOT... now just need to update my resume and re-read all my essays
