I have given 3 tests from the Veritas series. My scores are as follows:
1) 700 Q 48 (accuracy 55%) , V 38 (accuracy 69 %)
2) 680 Q 47 (accuracy 65%) , V 36 (accuracy 75 %)
3) 680 Q 47 (accuracy 71%) , V 37 (accuracy 58 %)
I know for a fact that my preparation has improved since i gave the first mock. Even so, my scores don't seem to be reflecting that. I had better accuracy in both verbal & quant from test 1 to test 2, yet my score was lower.
I also don't see any pattern in the number of answers i got incorrect consecutively or in the first or second half of the test.
Can someone please explain what is the algorithm like? And how close am i to the actual GMAT? I take the exam in less than 2 weeks.
Would really appreciate a response.
As a side note, i feel your verbal section is very very intense. the RC passages are dense & the questions are really between the lines. Verbal is supposed to be my strength. I have scored V45 twice in some of the other mock tests and 760 on official gmat prep test. It's quite discouraging to get these scores on Veritas tests.
