thanx i was thinking of getting a reco letter from the head of the institute will that be a bad impact. i can mention my work as aptitude teacher rather than as gmat teacher would that help.

Gaurava,

I would recommend reco letters from supervisors, peers, clients, and/or directors at volunteer-oriented community activities over a reco letter from a GMAT teaching gig. A brief letter of support sent by that institute head (not sent by you as part of your application) might be worthwhile, however. I don`t mean to suggest that being a GMAT teacher is something to "hide"--it is a legitimate and even commendable professional endeavor--but I do like your idea of having the director comment on your effectiveness in developing skill areas in your students rather than emphasizing, say, the average GMAT score improvement of your students. Take the high road.

Hope this helps,
