Dear GMAT Club experts,
I have received the full tuition waiver and graduate assistantship from College of William & Mary (GA is $4000 in second year only) and University of Connecticut MBA (GA is more than $10k in first year + health benefits). Which university would you take if you were in my case?
A little information about my background:
-International student with 4 years working in a top-notch Consumer Products company as Financial Planning Analysts. I am now also a team leader for SAP implementation at Marketing department.
-Academic: GMAT 690, GPA 3.81
-My plan is to work as an Analytics Translator or Business Intelligence Specialist post-MBA, in Consumer Products or Technology industry.
-Since my profile is modest, I do not aim at Top Tier Program such as Top 10 and Top 20.
Both programs have STEM designation. The career placement for international students after graduation is what concerns me the most. While W&M has a higher ranking and well-known, Uconn seems to have a more strategic locations since it is between both Boston and New York. Besides, the financial package of UConn really entices me as an international student, though I personally love the welcoming environment of W&M admission team.
Highly appreciate to have your feedback so that I can have a full picture before making my own decision.
Thanks in advance,
