Hi can anyone guide on this...today I got a call from an instagram ads and they said that they will get me admitted to this program through management quota and the extra fees for the same will be 12 lacs apart from the regular course fee. I mean I had no idea that XLRI too has such things called management quota and this way the cohort quality will definitely get sub-standardized. Any thoughts on that???

It’s a fake call. Don’t believe in such calls. XLRI does not have management quota.

100 percent placement is not there. 15 - 20 candidates remain unplaced. Even one of my friend who is from tech also was not placed. Then he joined a startup by searching on his own.

I got shortlisted and submitted my Essays and docs yesterday, Nov 6. I'm not sure what the next steps are and awaiting further communication from the Adcom. Does anyone know if the interviews will be held online or at different cities ?

To be honest condition is way too bad. Placement is not 100%. and even the salary, roles and companies are junk. the placement head and staff itself is very incompetent. Honest advice would be unless you are completely screwed, don’t join. IIM K, SPJIMR are way better options if you have

Folks who had their interview on 12 Nov, Can you please share how it went and what was asked ? was it the usual questions about the job profile and GK ? or did they change the interview questions this year for aligning with the updated experience criteria ?

I had my interview today. Scheduled time was 4.40 - 5 pm. But it started at around 4.55 and went till 5.15. There were 3 people in the panel, all looked like professors. I was asked questions on my work experience and I felt 2 out of 3 were chill and 1 even broke the ice at the beginning. We had a good discussion at the start. My experience is spread across sectors. So 1 of them said it doesn't look good since there are multiple short stints. The other supported me saying this diverse experience is good for the batch. I justified my short stint with examples. No general awareness questions. But I got a math question since I had teaching experience as well (why is minus x minus = plus). At last 1 of them asked me if I wanted to add something which is not mentioned in SOP.
I felt 1 of the person didn't like my profile and wasn't happy with my answers. Not sure how to feel
