MBB doesn’t hire from 1 year MBA programs except few people get placed from IIM A PGPX (very few) and some from ISB.
From ISB they hire a lot

I have been shortlisted for XLRI PGDMGM program via XAT. The interview slot is for 3.5 hrs. Would there be any GE or any separate exam apart from the interview?

I don't think there will be any ge or test other than interview. Got into PGDM GM as well through gre, only gave an interview.

I don't think there will be any ge or test other than interview. Got into PGDM GM as well through gre, only gave an interview.

No, my interview was very short, slot was booked for 30 mins but the interview barely lasted 15 mins. Perhaps this due to difference of XAT and GRE? Maybe a little GE prep will end up being useful after all in the off chance it happens.

Has anyone who applied through GMAT/GRE, recently heard back on their PGDM (GM) final decision? XLRI’s team hasn't responded to my query regarding this and I was interviewed in December. Is there a chance that I might be selected at a later point or should I stop expecting a seat?

Just had an urgent query:

I belong to the OBC-CL (creamy layer) category. Since there was no separate option to select the creamy layer, I chose 'OBC' under the category field.

To clearly specify that I belong in the creamy layer, I had entered my father's annual income as 8 lakh and above. As reservation benefits are provided only to families with an annual income of less than 8 lakh (people in OBC - NCL category).

I hope this should be clear and shouldn't lead to any confusion w.r.t to my category status. Can anyone please suggest?

People having OBC-CL category, what did you guys fill in the application?
