Guys admission is given to all the candidates who gave interviews from September to January or just to the people who gave interviews in Round 1 and Round 2? I saw someone writing that he got admission and he gave his interviews on 15th Jan?? So is the third round of interviews just a formality? Because I can hardly see any people getting selected in third round except 1? If sum1 has any idea please let me know...

A scam is going on just looting the application fee from the candidates in last round, taking interviews in 10 minutes as a formality, with such good scores and decent profiles people are not getting shortlisted. Full Scam.....Source - Current students and alumni, and I truly believe it. 750 Gmat score...Test Centre....

I second that

XLRI is a **** institution, the placements are student driven now, college doesn’t care for 1 year program.
Please be sure before you guys accept the offer.

Talk to alumni, do proper research and then take a decision

I echo Vicky. I am from Jamshedpur and Xlri is 3km from my house. It is extremely bizarre to such institutions getting down to such extent only to earn money. I have a GMAT FE score of 645 with 7 yrs of work ex. No shortlist from XL. And infact my interview was totally in and around my work ex which was defended extremely well by me in interview.

I mean how can they give admissions in just 10 days, if they say every round is equal so in just 5 days they calculated all the scores, the composite one and all the academics, work ex etc. everything? How many candidates got selected in this round. They say they select candidates holistically, people with low scores gets rejected. People with high score, myself included 695 Gmat Fe score, Test centre, rejected, 7 yrs of work ex, qstns were only about work ex. And rejection. That ldy and those two men were just casual and just wanted to finish off the interviews as fast as possible. Even 20 mints was not full utilized , took interview in 10 mints and wrapped up

During my interview, actually wasn’t even an interview, they pulled my architectural portfolio from an online source, and were trying to convince why I shouldn’t consider an MBA and remain an architect. No matter how much I tried getting the discussion to why an MBA. They are keen on discussing the design of the building I had worked. It felt more like a client meeting than an admissions interview.

One of professors even had an off-handed comment about why designers and architects should stick to arts and venture into MBA.
