I got in with the GRE score (~ 780 GMAT, according to the conversion chart provided by ETS).

I applied to Yale with GRE scores as well. The only school I've found that has explicitly outlined that they preferred the GMAT over the GRE is Columbia and even that was just in one short sentence: "All applicants must submit a self-reported GMAT (preferred) or GRE score."

I don't think most schools have one preference over the other.

Congrats on the promotion!!

If you just want to update your application with this new information, I'd send an email. I think there's a generic email that accepts information like that listed on the application somewhere, but if you don't have it, call the adcom and see what the procedure is.

If this promotion is big enough and you want to withdraw your bschool application (no worries, it happens), the same procedure would apply.

I know - I was just as shocked. Received the interview invitation via email at 8:10pm EST. When I scheduled my interview, I saw timeslots available on Jan 31 and the week of Feb 10
