I love decision time! Yale vs. Darden is tough, but if you want to do any kind of social impact work, Yale is heads above the rest. It will suck to lose your deposit, so I am sure you have a tough decision to make. That said, they both are known for their tight-knit community feel.

Come to Welcome Weekend and see what you think!

Thanks for your input, maichichi! Btw, I've been following your posts/blog throughout this journey and you have been phenomenally helpful. I will most likely be at Welcome Weekend and look forward to meeting you :)

We'll have to have a gmatclub "reunion" (or is it just "union" since we've never met before? ). I look forward to meeting you and talking you into Yale helping you decide on what's best for you! Gmatclub brunch on Sunday perhaps?

Consider keeping the Darden keychain that came in your welcome package - you can tell people it was the most expensive one you've ever purchased.

LOVE this idea! Haha. I hope you can make it to the gmatclub brunch as well :)

I am in :) :) ! Goshh feels quite awesome on getting an admit !! Got a mail from Bruce couple of hours ago. Applicant from New Delhi, India.

Finally the ordeal seems to have concluded. Sad that I can't make it to the admit weekend on 19th-20th April. Hopefully they will have a similar event in India :)

Man!! Can't stop grinning :)

Machichi- Man, as I think many people have previously mentioned in the thread, you choosing Yale over other admits, has been quite an inspiration :)

Good luck today man. Hopefully Yale comes through for you or you'll be back at it for year #3?

Thanks Aerien ! The thoughts of going through Year 3 is giving me some serious stomach ulcers :(

If you don't mind, I would PM you to discuss somethings. I don't want to crash the party here :-D

Yeah, no problem. Hopefully you get the call soon though :)

Got the call at 12:56 on the East Coast. Congrats to everyone, and best of luck! I understand the official email does not come out until later today. Can anyone tell me when admit weekend is?

Welcome Weekend is April 19 and 20, with some optional events the evening of April 18.

Congratulations to everyone admitted so far (do change your profiles to green and if you really want to make me happy you'd just change them to blue no questions asked)!

Best of luck to those still waiting...there's still lots of time left for calls so keep those fingers and toes crossed.

In! West coast. Got a voicemail at about 10:45 pst (terrible service in my building) and called back shortly afterwards. No $ offered but in is in!

Now I have a decision to make...
