Strengths:

Carin's judgement and robustness of the platform.

Carin was a complete game changer for me.

For context, I had previously worked with a very expensive consultant, but the guidance I received was nowhere near as thorough, thoughtful, or useful as Application Lab’s. The feedback on my essays and résumé was often shallow and, in hindsight, pointed me in the wrong direction.

After receiving very positive feedback from that consultant, I decided to work with Carin for the first time. She (rightly) tore apart my essays. She helped me identify hidden gems in my résumé, sharpened the story I was trying to tell, and completely elevated the quality of my application.

Her mock interview for Stanford GSB, just one day before the real thing, also made a huge difference. I walked into the actual interview with much more clarity, confidence, and structure.

Carin has excellent taste, strong judgment, and real candor - which was exactly what I needed. I have been recommending her and Application Lab to all my friends.
