Program IE MiM (Sept Start)

Class of 2023

Experience during the program

IE is overall a great university. has good diversity of people, alumunis and connections. i love the professors and the teachers. all are very helpful. but when we talk about job opportunities IE alone may not give you that edge that you want in your career.. The school is definitely one of the best for Developed countries like USA or any european country or china... because USA and China Already have those high paying jobs and availability of jobs so even if you don't search for jobs in spain you can go back to your country and work freely. you have a good school on your linkedin and already living in a country with a lot of job opportunities... also european people as they can freely travel in europe and work anywhere they want. so they also have good opportunities in all the european countries.. but when you talk about countries like india, pakistan etc.. who are still developing, their own country don't have that much opportunities, people mostly decide after a foreign education they will find a work in that country.. see spain won't be a good fit for you-- the struggle here would be much more. 1) No one will hire a non spanish speaking person in spain.. very less chances they will hire a person who speaks english.. 2) after 1 year your work visa expires.. even usa gives you 3 year work visa if you go for stem degree but spain only gives you 1 year to explore otherwise go back to india/pakistan or any other country 3) people who are from europe studying here can go anywhere like can go to germany to get a job, france to get a job but you don't have that option..
The only pro they have is they have a huge alumni network who helps you in this process. there maybe some chances some alumni gets you in touch with some company that's hiring.. their alumnis are mostly in middle east. so you have some chance their. but its very uncertain for people from india/pakistan or any other countries who don't have much opportunities in their own country..
